The educational game In the Vistula Valleys is a family game for people of all ages – children, teenagers, adults, families, and seniors. It combines the lightness of a board game with educational value. The questions are divided into four thematic categories:

• Nature – flora and fauna of the Vistula, interesting facts about the natural environment.
• Geography – general and specific questions about rivers, peaks, valleys, places and topography related to the Vistula.
• Culture and history – figures, dates, objects and events directly or indirectly related to the Vistula.
• Local riddles – original puzzles based on the memories and family stories from the childhood of the game's author.

Additional cards requiring the performance of tasks are: Surprise and STOP SIGN CARD.

The mechanics of the game are simple and friendly for all participants. Each player rolls the dice – the player with the highest score starts. On the first roll from the start (each time we start from the start), the direction of movement depends on the number rolled: 

even number – move up and the player chooses which path to take,

odd number – move right.

Later in the game, the players chooses where they want to go, they can go back, choose a longeror shorter path for strategic reasons, or take a risk and try to pass through the STOP fields, where they must roll the appropriate number of points to pass. (the procedure is explained in detail below in the description of the red STOP CARDS).
